Bookings Open with Deliveries Expected Later This Month

Hyundai Motor India has officially pulled the wraps off the highly anticipated 2024 Creta SUV, set to hit the market on January 16, 2024. Bookings for the updated SUV are now open, requiring a token amount of Rs 25,000. Anticipated deliveries are slated to commence later this month, following the official price announcement. The automaker has been building excitement for the 2024 Creta through gradual teasers in recent times.

In its latest iteration, the 2024 Creta boasts a range of cosmetic enhancements over its predecessor and introduces several new features, including an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) bundle. The model will be available in seven variants, namely E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O).

2024 Hyundai Creta: Design

The 2024 Creta showcases a completely redesigned front fascia, highlighted by a broad and sleek three-row grille, a departure from the parametric jewels seen in other models within the company's lineup. The SUV's front exhibits a more upright and bold stance, featuring updated projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) reminiscent of the new Santa Fe in the international market, a revamped bumper design, and vertically stacked fog lamps. Moving to the rear, the model boasts a connected LED tail lamp arrangement, complemented by a redesigned bumper, a sporty roof-mounted spoiler, and an updated tailgate to accommodate these enhancements. The side profile sees minimal changes, except for the introduction of new alloy wheels, available in 17-inch and 18-inch options depending on the trim.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Features

Teaser images hint at significant interior upgrades, including two 10.25-inch screens, refreshed design elements on the dashboard, and updated textures and materials for the upholstery. Expected features include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with 19 functions. The model is likely to introduce a 360-degree camera and a blind spot monitoring system.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Powertrain

The 2024 Creta will offer three engine options, including the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units from the outgoing model and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine sourced from the latest-gen Verna. This new engine replaces the discontinued 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and a 6-speed automatic.
